things deteriorate over time. I always tell people that owning a house is a full-time job. I often see memes or rants about how they will let you pay this much for rent but not loan you the money to own a
house for the same payment as a mortgage. A mortgage payment is just the beginning of home ownership. That could be an hour-long topic by itself.
